Jivko Atanassov
Ship agency, vessel operations and cargo inspection came before the digital tools.
Jivko's maritime background includes ship-agent work, a marine superintendent role and petroleum inspection. His work has involved vessel arrivals and departures, terminal coordination, crew and spares arrangements, and cargo quantity checks.
At Amicus, his marine consulting work has included cargo and bunker surveys. That background brings a concrete view of shipping: schedules change, several parties need the same information, and small gaps in communication can affect the next movement.
His professional record also includes building spreadsheet templates to simplify document processing. Applying technology to a repeated operational task is a thread that continues through Amicus today.
